Zen Master Dae Kwang has been a monk since 1987. He became a Zen Master in 1996. He teaches and leads meditation retreats in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. He is interested in both Buddhist and Christian practice, and currently lives in Singapore.
Jo Alma Potter is the guiding teacher for the Kwan Um Zen Centers in Vienna Austria, Palma de Mallorca Spain, Vrazne Czech Republic, and Kwan Um Groups in Hungary. She met Zen Master Seung Sahn in the early 1990’s and intensified her Zen practice in the Kwan Um School of Zen. When she was seventeen years old, she began to meditate. She traveled to India in early 1980’s to continue the path of meditation. In 1986, she moved to Berlin Germany where she was the Abbot of the Berlin Zen Center from 1995 until 2006 and helped to build and establish that Zen Center. In 2012, she moved to Vienna Austria. She is fluent in English, Spanish and German. In 2008, she received Inka and the title Ji Do Poep Sa. She has traveled worldwide leading and teaching Zen retreats
Barry Briggs JDPSN began training in the Kwan Um School of Zen in 1990 and took Bodhisattva Teacher precepts in 2001. In 2005 he retired from a career as a senior manager in the software and Internet industries. He received inka from Zen Master Soeng Hyang in 2013 and travels widely to lead retreats around the world.
